尤其是當面對到無路可退的絕境時

"Inside Your Heaven"靠著美偶奪冠人氣，硬是把花蝴蝶We Belong Together史無前例的15連冠斬成兩截

成為Carrie至今，也是唯一一首Billboard冠軍曲

但成功讓Carrie打開知名度的是Jesus, Take the Wheel

這首歌成為Carrie的第一首鄉村榜冠軍曲

更首次入圍葛萊美獎(年度歌曲、年度新人、最佳鄉村女歌手演出、最佳鄉村歌曲)

最後拿下2007年的年度鄉村歌曲、最佳鄉村女歌手演出

從此Carrie也成為葛萊美親女兒之一(鄉村這一塊)

JTTW有濃濃的基督教色彩，這當然跟Carrie是基督徒有關

但不管如何，歌詞裡的故事真的很棒很感人

整首歌描述一個單親媽媽，開車載著寶貝兒子

要在平安夜趕回家，卻遇上了車子打滑失控

就在意外即將發生的瞬間，這位媽媽開始向上帝祈禱並求助於祂

同時過去一年以來的困苦與辛酸湧上心頭，再看看後座熟睡中的寶寶，那是她僅存的支柱...

如果人生中遇到一些挫折，孤立無援

你是否會開始想：既然時間都能暫停，那人生是不是也能暫停，並且重新開始?

或許這一切就不會發生...

常常聽到"信耶穌得永生"

我們一般認為這是虔誠的教徒才會說出來的話

但其背後意義卻是，如果擁有強大無比的信念，就能度過一切難關

同樣的，是不是只要我們秉持著信念跟理想，就能克服恐懼、邁向成功?

有一句老話是這麼說的："When there is a will, there is a way"

感人的故事加上Carrie溫暖又具能量的嗓音

造就了一首動人歌曲
