突然發現：這竟然才是關於Ari的第二篇文？

 

還記得上次關於My Everything的"簡評"...

其實也不能算是評論啦

頂多是對於每首歌的一些小小心得而已...

 

而如今，我更希望的是從一張專輯的音樂性、概念上著手，我想寫的是更全面一點的東西

因此未來可能會去嘗試寫點樂評，不管單曲或是專輯都是如此

 

想起My Everything那篇，頂多只能算個人的一點點小嘴砲XD(卻有人因此崩潰，也是挺好笑)

而且因為我這樣的直接，難免會冒犯到一些人，但這就是我的作風，我也不會去改變，一如本版標題

 

至於當初為什麼會對My Everything很有"意見"，也是因為跟Your Truly相比

我是不知道Ari為什麼要來個180度轉變@@   但這種要變不變其實是最尷尬的，聽起來也非常紊亂

(所以這張評價也是最低)

既有Problem這樣製作優秀的復古流行R&B單曲，也有Break Free這樣粗製濫造的EDM垃圾(副歌倒是不錯)

還好Dangerous Woman算是挽救回來了，對於黑人樂種的(回歸)嘗試收到了很不錯的效果

在整體聽感上，個人認為甚至還更勝Yours Truly一籌！

 

至於Yours Truly，個人覺得是強在好歌更多

基本上除了The Way、Popular Song、Better Unsaid等破壞專輯整體風格的歌曲之外

通通是質量不錯甚至上佳的好歌，比如等下要介紹的Honeymoon Avenue，比如Baby I、Right There、Piano、Tattoo Heart等

其中HA自是不用講，你能想像Ari居然把她生涯最好的一首歌，放在生涯首張專輯的開頭？

接下來Piano、Right There、Almost Is Never Enough、Baby I...每首歌都能單曲循環很久！

唯一可惜的地方，大概就是專輯的打單策略了...

其實Honeymoon Avenue原本的編曲是這樣，偏upbeat的早期靈魂樂：

專輯版則加了弦樂點綴，編曲上則直接以50/60年代的Doo-Wop慢板曲風remix而成

加上應該是Ari最好、最自然的vocal演出，整個質感瞬間提升好幾層！

(尤其副歌的斷句，簡直超神！)

不意外地，這首歌是Ari在本張專輯的最愛，甚至都想直接以此當作專輯title了

至於為何改成Yours Truly這我就不曉得了...

或許是這首歌會觸動到她內心那早已塵封的回憶吧

 

"I almost cried last night when I was singing it onstage, ‘cause it’s about something that’s so special to me when I hear it. It strikes a personal chord. “'Honeymoon Avenue’ is about knowing you are at the end of a relationship and wishing it could not be the end and go back to the beginning and start over."

"那晚我在台上表演Honeymoon Avenue時，是難過到幾乎要掉下眼淚的，這是因為...它對我來說有某種特殊的意義在，且讓我有所共鳴，而這首歌曲寫的就是：當妳了解到一段感情即將走到盡頭之時，卻暗自希望這一切不要結束，想回到原點，並且重新來過。"

至於靈感，大家一致相信是來自於曾交往3年的男友Graham Phillips(2011年分手)。

 

每次聽這首歌，腦海中都會浮現一個景象：

嬌小玲瓏的Ari在道路上翩翩起舞

她所到之處，都會有粉紅的花朵慢慢地綻放開來...

由於花朵太過迷人，招來了數以千計、各式各色的蝴蝶

數量甚至多到，連交通號誌都被其完全覆蓋....

(此人想像力好豐富哈哈)

於是我，在可能的衝擊到來之前
