該說很意外嗎，其實有一點

本人當初認為，1989時代到Out of the Woods就結束了、一切clean，應該不會再有單曲了...

結果...好吧，還真的打了New Romamtics。

其實原因很簡單，豪華加歌之中就這首"看似"最沒有明顯寫出特定對象

看看其他兩首，Wonderland給Dianna、You Are In Love給"某人"

泰勒也不想冒這風險，於是就打了個安全的、訊息較不明顯的歌曲。

再者，這首歌很像是寫對新事物、新朋友、新愛情的那種期待及興奮感

怎麼感覺跟某首歌類似?  沒錯，就是Red裡當作最後主打的"22"！

而我感覺這也會是1989時代最後一首主打單曲。

接著，關於22的隱藏訊息，是"Ashley Dianna Claire Selena"，這是寫給泰勒當時的4個好朋友：

Selena Gomez、Ashley Avignone、Dianna Agron、Claire Kislinger等四人。

下面是歌詞：

不管MV的狂歡情景，其實仔細看看這首歌的歌詞

明顯是首愛情向的歌曲，只是大家都被隱藏訊息跟MV給"誤導"了

沒錯，這首歌是泰勒寫給當時好友的其中一人，而這個人，就是Dianna Agron。

理由?

這是泰勒原先寫的"22"歌詞手稿，是關於最後一段的部分。

此時先看一下被圈起來改掉的部分：

Sometimes it hits me. We're moving quickly.

Toward same thing hazy, a future I can't see.

Let's break the old rules, while we're still 22.

You look like bad news.

I gotta have you.

我們進展的很快，就像某種東西擊中了我一樣

可是，擋在前方的，是不可預知的未來

於是我們只好趁還在22歲的時候，打破那些常規！

妳就像我那即將到來的23歲青春

我一定要好好愛上妳！

只是泰勒認為這段歌詞的"意圖"太過明顯

所以才改成：

這種沒特別暗示的歌詞，再加上MV，也就能成功把歌曲引成友情導向了。

所以，照這樣推斷下去，New Romantics就是寫給"某人"的?  也不盡然。

個人以為是泰勒遇到新環境、新朋友(當然包括新的愛情)等等全新的事物，有感而發才寫下的

(也就是在到紐約之後，恩)

因此如果要為New Romantics附一個隱藏訊息的話

那很有可能是：Lorde、Ellie、某人、Lily。

目測MV有可能會是巡迴剪輯，我看泰勒最近也不想排甚麼行程-.-（跟某人見面除外）

但不管怎樣，1989，終於算是畫下句點

而接下來等著她的，是全新的人生篇章。
