跟這首歌很有緣，某天在家裡循環無數次以後

跟老媽出門

在買五十嵐時，那邊的收音機正好又再播了一次，只能說太巧

Just a Dream(不是Nelly那首)收錄在Carrie的第二張專輯[Carnival Ride]裡

是在講述一位18歲女孩準備要參加婚禮(其實是葬禮)，愛人卻因越戰而殉國了

女孩因為太過悲痛，只能希望這一切都只是一場夢...

也間接表明反對戰爭的立場

旋律非常芭樂，加上Carrie的歌聲把女孩絕望的情緒完全地表現出來，讓整首歌非常催淚感人

是本人心目中Carrie前幾好聽的歌曲之一

也是Carrie的第7首鄉村榜冠軍

自己現在也在當兵，所以對於這首歌有那麼一點點感觸。

這段話是為歐洲婚禮的傳統習俗(有舊、有新、有借、有藍，以及鞋裡放六便士銀幣)，據傳始於英國維多利亞時代

something old是指新娘的過去和家人

something new是指對婚後美好未來的期望

something borrowed是指從已婚的親朋好友那裏借來的東西，象徵把幸福快樂傳承給新娘

something blue 藍色為聖母瑪利亞的代表色，象徵對丈夫的忠貞與純潔

至於六便士銀幣放在鞋裡，則是象徵婚後能永遠富足與安定
