個人認為，除了Team跟Buzzcut Season外，就屬這首內涵最為豐富難解

Lorde在這首歌中，用了古羅馬時代中的劍鬥士及當時盛行的競技場搏鬥作為比喻

比喻自身若要獲得成功，必須得先經過一番死鬥(名利、輿論、媒體等)，才能成為至高無上的存在

而身上的無數刀疤槍痕，就是戰勝一切的最佳證明！
