“I wrote ‘Treacherous’ with Dan Wilson, and we came up with a way to say, you know, ‘This is dangerous and I realize that I might get hurt if I go through with this, if I move forward with you. But… but I want to.’ You know? It’s like that kind of conflicted feeling of it being a risk every time you fall in love — especially with certain types of people [laughs].
That was a song that I’m really proud of, because it’s got this bridge that sounds like a second chorus. It’s got all these big vocals, and it’s kind of the intensity of that moment when you’re deciding to let yourself fall in love with someone.” ------Taylor on inspirations for writing "Treacherous".
Treacherous是我跟Dan Wilson合寫的一首歌曲，我們當初的想法是："愛上一個人是危險難測的，即便我清楚知道，仍決意鋌而走險，與他繼續相愛...但這樣可能就會受到傷害，但...我就愛這樣。" 這就像是當妳不顧危險地墜入愛河一樣，那樣矛盾的感覺，尤其是當我愛上某些人的時候(笑)。
這首歌的bridge(橋段)背後有宏大的合聲相襯，讓它聽起來有如第二段副歌一般，也表達出當妳下定決心要愛上某個人時，那種強烈的情緒，所以我很以此為傲。
----- 泰勒談到關於創作"Treacherous"的靈感
其實treacherous這字的定義
很好地解釋了泰勒本身的愛情觀：
1. 因欺騙或背叛而生的罪惡感
2. 隱藏起來的、不可預測的危險
早在和CH PR拆夥之後
我就曾懷疑：是不是泰勒檯面上的男友都只是為了遮掩私底下無數的"禁忌關係"
在看過網上八卦及和抖森"分手"後，這種感覺更強烈了
但不管她天生就喜歡女生，或是後天被其他人"掰彎"，都不會影響我對她的欣賞和喜愛。

題外話：我有時會把這字看成treasurous(如珍寶般的) lol
*泰勒於某次訪問提過，這首歌跟將要出現的I Knew You Were Trouble有著前因後果關係
即這首歌跟Trouble寫的是同一人。
*這人是花到不行，但又相當有才華的John Mayer。
*所以Red當中牽涉的人物還真多...若算上John Mayer總共至少5人...
